21.12.2011 Cutting foiled sheets without evaporation
Many users work with foiled sheets to maintain the surface quality as high as possible during processing. However, the major disadvantage of this was so far the evaporation of the foil, which took valuable processing time. But why waste time? With the innovative foil coating of Novacel and optimized cutting data by TRUMPF, the evaporation is a thing of the past. This means for you: faster processing, full productivity and lower part costs – whether with solid state lasers or CO2 lasers.  
14.12.2011 New arrival to the TRUMPF Showroom: TruLaser Cell 3010
The economical solution for production of small batches. In the new TRUMPF laser application lab in Singapore the TruLaser 3010 will show its benefits in laser cutting and laser welding. Wherever short and medium production runs demand of a high degree of flexibility, the TruLaser Station 3010 is the ideal choice. Depending on the application, it can be combined with pulsed lasers, disk lasers, fiber lasers or diode lasers. Thanks to the integrated programmable focusing optics (PFO), processing requires no movement of the optics or workpiece. As a result, this scanner optics enables minimal processing times.  
30.09.2011 Prestigious Award for the TruLaser 5030 fiber
It was with the TruLaser 5030 fiber that TRUMPF Japan took home this year's "Machine Industry Design Award," presented by the Japanese Ministry of Economics. This prize is bestowed on products that have exerted a major impact on the design principles followed for machinery in terms of functionality, appearance, performance, reliability and safety. This is the first time that the prize has been granted to a business located outside of Japan.

01.08.2011 Turn Waste Into Money!
You can make a lot out of the skeleton that is left over during the punching process. Even cash. An innovation made by TRUMPF helps you with that: Skeleton-free processing on the TruPunch 3000 and TruPunch 5000. You optimize sheet utilisation by 10% on average; smaller workpieces will yield an even better output rate. The sheet is processed completely during the punching process and scrap can be sorted correctly according to material type.

On June 16, 2011 TRUMPF Medical Systems opened an advanced medical technology center in Singapore. The entire facility underscores TRUMPF’s commitment to innovation and being a technology leader. However it has far greater potential than just a showroom. There customers will find ideal conditions to familiarize themselves with high-end medical technology solutions and test them personally – a unique concept so-far in this region.
